Abstract
The SrCo2Si2 and CaFe2âxRhxSi2 (x==0, 1.32, and 2) crystallize in the ThCr2Si2-type. The structure of SrCo2Si2 contains isolated [Co2Si2]2â layers in the ab-plane, whereas the [T2Si2] layers in CaFe2âxRhxSi2 are interconnected along the c-axis via Si3Si bonds resulting in a [T2Si2]2â network.
