Abstract
⺠Egyptian kaolin was successfully used to prepare pure phase of JBW Structure. ⺠JBW is stable till <300 °C. ⺠JBW phase crystallizes as cylindrical shape but agglomerates in a Nano spherical shape. ⺠The ion exchange isotherms of Cu2+, Ni2+, and Co2+ followed up Freundlich isotherm. ⺠Selectivity towards Cu2+ is much higher than Co2+ or Ni2+.
