Abstract
► Mn-intercalated titanate has been prepared by exfoliation-flocculation approach. ► The as-prepared catalyst shows spectral response in the visible-light region. ► Heat treatment at certain temperature enables formation of Mn-doped TiO2. ► Dye can be degradated effectively by the catalyst under visible light irradiation.
