Abstract
⺠Solid Solutions of Sr2Ir1âxMxO4 (M=Ti, Fe, Co) are synthesized. ⺠The Sr2Ir1âxTixO4 solid solution is complete while those of Fe and Co are relatively limited. ⺠The change in a cell parameter with substitution is much less than that of the c parameter. ⺠Decreased tilting and the smaller size of the M cation contrastingly affect the a parameter. ⺠Doping results in a suppression of the weak ferromagnetic ordering in Sr2IrO4.
