Abstract
⺠R-CuCrO2 plate-like single crystals have been synthesised by the flux method. ⺠Growth takes place layer-by-layer and some growth defects have been observed. ⺠CuCrO2 single crystals exhibit a unique antiferromagnetic transition at TN=24 K. ⺠Transport measurements reveal that the resistivity is highly anisotropic.
