Abstract
⺠The composition La2SbO2 has been identified. ⺠La2SbO2 belongs to an unusual group of materials containing Pn2â anions. ⺠La2SbO2 and La1.9Sr0.1SbO2 are both found to be semiconducting. ⺠DFT has been used to calculate heats of formation within the La-Fe-Sb-O system. ⺠The phonon spectrum for LaFeSbO reveals no unstable lattice mode.
