Abstract
- Synthesis via sol-gel process with a template surfactant gave nano alumina of sizes 50-100 nm.
- Fluoride removal capacity of modified nano alumina was 5.66 mg/g at neutral pH.
- The modified nano alumina had a highly crystalline structure.
- Adsorption followed pseudo second order kinetics and intra-particle diffusion.
