Abstract
- The essential oil constituents of Etlingera pavieana was analysed for the first time.
- trans-Anethole, p-anisaldehyde and δ-cadinene were the major components.
- trans-Anethole and p-anisaldehyde were encountered for the first time in the genus Etlingera.
- This finding could be a useful chemotaxonomic marker for this species.
