Abstract
												- Triploids represent advantages to oyster industry.
- We develop a molecular tool using genomic resources for triploid identification.
- Eight of highly polymorphic and centromere-distant microsatellites were used.
- This molecular tool was cost-effective, versatile and accurate for triploidy detection.
