Abstract
⺠The alkaloid composition of Sophora stenophylla and Sophora nuttalliana was investigated. ⺠S. stenophylla and S. nuttalliana both contain quinolizidine alkaloids. ⺠S. nuttalliana contains the teratogen anagyrine. ⺠S. nuttalliana does not contain the neurotoxin swainsonine.
