Abstract
► Phytochemical study on Curcuma caesia is reported for the first time. ► Nine sesquiterpenes were identified in C. caesia. ► Curcumenol and isofuranodienone were major metabolites. ► Nine sesquiterpenes consisted of guinane, germacrane, elemane and carabrane skeleton type. ► These are important chemotaxonomical markers for genus Curcuma.
