Abstract
⺠Phytochemical study on Curcuma caesia is reported for the first time. ⺠Nine sesquiterpenes were identified in C. caesia. ⺠Curcumenol and isofuranodienone were major metabolites. ⺠Nine sesquiterpenes consisted of guinane, germacrane, elemane and carabrane skeleton type. ⺠These are important chemotaxonomical markers for genus Curcuma.
