Abstract
												⺠We examined within-plant distribution of volatile chemicals on tarbush leaf surface. ⺠Ninety-four volatiles were detected on the leaf surface. ⺠Fifty-two chemicals were affected by leaf position. ⺠Sixty-three compounds were affected by leaf age. ⺠Sampling variability was minimized by avoiding basal sprouts and immature leaves.
