Abstract
► We isolate and characterize the PSAT gene in Antheraea pernyi. ► We investigate the expression pattern of the ApPSAT gene. ► We show a moderate sequence homology among PSATs available. ► We show that PSAT protein has the potential value in phylogenetic inference.
