Abstract
⺠No studies yet show the activity or the chemical profile of M. tomentosa. ⺠We prove phytotoxicity in M. tomentosa and identify and isolate active compounds. ⺠Fractions from which juglanin and avicularin are isolated have phytotoxic activity. ⺠This is a first report of the presence of quercetin and kaempferol in Myrtaceae.
