Abstract
⺠Two phenolic glycosides, homalosides E (1) and F (2), together with 13 known ones were isolated from the stems of Homalium ceylanicum. ⺠Except compounds 3, 4 and 7, all others were isolated from the genus for the first time. ⺠The isolation of phenolic glycosides, especially compounds 1â9 provides valuable chemical evidence that supports the genus Homalium placed into Saliacaceae sensu lato.
