Abstract
⺠Genetic variation within Korean populations of the orchid Bletilla striata was low. ⺠Moderate degree of genetic differentiation was found in B. striata. ⺠These results suggest that extant Korean populations originated from a single source. ⺠Both in situ and ex situ conservation strategies are needed.
