Abstract
⺠Phytochemical investigation on the bark of Millettia mannii resulted in the isolation of two isoflavones, one furanonaphthoquinone and five triterpenoids. ⺠Almost all the isolated compounds are reported for the first time from this plant. ⺠The existence of these triterpenoids may indicate a close relationship within the members of the genus Millettia. ⺠One isoflavone and one triterpenoid may serve as specific makers of M. mannii from the Centre region of Cameroon.
