Abstract
⺠Seed protein polymorphism of Cactaceae was assessed by immunochemical analysis. ⺠Western blotting allowed us for the mapping of protein regions shared among 10 cacti species. ⺠Differences in antigenic patterns were tightly related to systematic affinity. ⺠Differences were higher when members of other subclasses were considered.
