Abstract
⺠Thirty-one alkanes were identified in the epicuticular wax of nine species of Solanum subg. Leptostemonum. ⺠Tritriacontane was the major constituent in most species. ⺠Three clusters were identified. ⺠The profiles of alkanes showed some qualitative taxonomic value for species analyzed.
