Abstract
⺠Four multiplex PCR assays were developed for the Zhikong scallop. ⺠They were useful for multiplexed microsatellite systems in parentage assignment. ⺠We evaluated and validated these multiplex PCRs in 12 full-sib families. ⺠Results have important implications in genetic studies in the species.
