Abstract
⺠Forty-six compounds were isolated and identified from the stem barks of Acanthopanax brachypus. ⺠The research results confirms that Acanthopanax senticosus and A. brachypus are closely related taxonomically. ⺠Twenty-two compounds were isolated for the first time from the genus Acanthopanax. ⺠Four stilbenes being obtained for the first time from the genus Acanthopanax has the chemotaxonomic significance.
