Abstract
⺠This study reports on the isolation of caffeic acid derivatives from Bellis perennis. ⺠The allelopathic effects of the metabolites on coexisting species have been tested. ⺠The distribution of metabolites in plant organs and the presence in soil are reported. ⺠The chemotaxonomy of these compounds has been briefly discussed.
