Abstract
⺠Nine dihydrocinnamic acids were isolated from Hortia brasiliana and Hortia oreadica. ⺠Three novel dihydrocinnamic acids were characterized. ⺠The chemotaxonomic value of the dihydrocinnamic acids in the Rutaceae is discussed. âºÂ Hortia showed affinities with other Rutoideae species.
