Abstract
⺠Eight triterpenes and sterols were isolated from Hybanthus austro-caledonicus. ⺠A new hopane, 3-epi-woodwardinic acid, has been characterized. ⺠It is the first time that hopane-type triterpenoids were detected in genus Hybanthus. ⺠No cyclotide has been detected in aerial parts of Hybanthus austro-caledonicus.
