Abstract
⺠Withanolide concentration is higher in leaves than in roots in seedlings. ⺠Withanolide concentration is higher in roots than in leaves in adult plants. ⺠Calyxes had a higher withanolide concentration than fruits. ⺠There was no change in withanolide concentration after simulated herbivory. ⺠Withanolide concentration is variable within plants and during plant development.
