Abstract
⺠We analysed the genetic diversity and differentiation of the endangered plant Sinocalycanthus chinensis using cpSSR markers. ⺠Genetic diversity at the population level and species level was low. ⺠Variation existed mainly among populations rather than within populations. ⺠Eight populations were clustered into two main groups and there was significant association between genetic and geographical distances.
