Abstract
⺠We consider Rheum acuminatum and Rheum australe. ⺠We determine and compare concentration of phytochemicals in roots. ⺠Variation in concentration of phytochemicals in cultivated and naturally growing plants. ⺠Emodin and physicon higher in concentration R. acuminatum than R. australe but opposite for chrysophanol.
