Abstract
⺠Chinese and Japanese populations of C. nasus exhibit local and regional population structure. ⺠The glacial retreat, life-history traits and ecology may affect the phylogeographic pattern. ⺠Chinese and Japanese populations may represent two distinct populations or subspecies of C. nasus.
