Abstract
⺠Chemotaxonomic variation has been described for E. tenuifolius and E. punctulatus. ⺠MIR and chemometrics proved the botanical origin of Cape chamomile oil to be E. tenuifolius and not E. punculatus. ⺠GC-MS data further confirmed E. tenuifolius to be the source of Cape chamomile using a non-targeted, unsupervised approach.
