Abstract
⺠Monimopetalum chinense (Celastraceae) is an endangered vine in eastern China. ⺠Information on genetic variation could improve conservation of the species. ⺠We examined genetic variation within and among 11 populations using AFLP markers. ⺠We found modest heterozygosity, high genotypic diversity, and population structure. ⺠Populations still harbor high genetic diversity despite low levels of gene flow.
