Abstract
⺠Rhamnus persicifolia an endemic tree growing in Sardinia (Italy) was studied. ⺠ISSR detected the genetic diversity within and among populations of the species. ⺠Quite high levels of genetic diversity were detected at both levels. ⺠A spatial genetic structure was detected with BAPS analysis. ⺠Measures are suggested for integrated in situ and ex situ conservation programs.
