Abstract
⺠Three caffeoyl-iridoids were isolated from Perichlaena richardii. ⺠One of its iridoid, verminoside, proved to be a good inhibitor of 15-LOX. ⺠Caffeoyl-iridoids appear to be a chemotaxonomic marker of the Paleaotropical clade. ⺠On the basis of the new classification of Bignoniaceae, the distribution of iridoids in this family was updated.
