Abstract
⺠We investigated genetic structure in the snorkel snail, Rhiostoma housei. ⺠Fixed allelic differences obtained for each combination of allopatric samples. ⺠A high genetic heterogeneity and genetic distances was found among samples. ⺠These results suggest the presence of cryptic species under the name R. housei.
