Abstract
⺠The isolation of polyphenolics from Potentilla recta and Drymocallis rupestris were carried out. ⺠All compounds from P. recta and D. rupestris were isolated for the first time. ⺠The occurrence of flavones based on apigenin and luteolin derivatives from Potentilla species has never been reported so far. ⺠This is the first report of the chemical composition of aerial parts of D. rupestris. ⺠Isolated compounds could be chemotaxonomic markers for the genus Potentilla.
