Abstract
⺠We study the chemical composition of Scrophularia saharae Batt. & Trab. ⺠Five iridoid glycosides are isolated and identified. ⺠One acylated iridoid with catalpol skeleton is new. ⺠The study confirms that iridoids are chemotaxonomic markers of the family Scrophulariaceae.
