Abstract
- Mucoadhesive S-g-PAA was synthesized and characterized for vaginal applications.
- Mucoadhesive S-g-PAA based vaginal hormone delivery systems were first developed.
- These systems were evaluated in vitro and in vivo for the estrus synchronization.
- The hormone release profiles from these systems were compared with CR and CIDR.
- (WS-g-PAA)gc may be an alternative to these two commercial products.
