Abstract
⺠The aminoethyl chitin (AEC) hydrogels were prepared by crosslinking with glutaraldehyde. ⺠The hydrogels were pH sensitive to acidic environment. ⺠The swelling properties of the hydrogels were affected by the amino content of AEC, etc. ⺠The hydrogels exhibited good antibacterial activities.
