Abstract
Novel tetracyclic azasugars fused benzo[e][1,3]thiazin-4-one were conveniently synthesized by the tandem Staudinger/aza-Wittig/cyclization reaction under microwave radiation. Most compounds exhibited significant anti-HIV-RT inhibitory activity.125
