Abstract
- A β-glucan called schizophyllan (SPG) forms a complex with polynucleotides.
- We found that SPG/ODN complex was recognized by β-glucan receptor.
- The complex with phosphodiester backbone was recognized in the same manner as SPG.
- The complex with phosphorothioate backbone had multi-binding sites to the receptor.
