Abstract

- Crystal structure of GlcNAcÎ²NHBu and (GlcNAcÎ²(1-4)GlcNAc)butanamides was solved.
- Glycosidic torsions are influenced by C2-NHAc group as well as molecular packing.
- In monosaccharides C2-NHAc group is controlling the N-glycosidic torsion values.
- In disaccharide molecular packing is controlling the N-glycosidic torsion values.
