Abstract
⺠Chemical constituents of the bulbs of Lilium brownii var. viridulum were investigated. ⺠Fifteen steroidal saponins including seven new saponins (1-7) were isolated. ⺠The structures of the new compounds were elucidated mainly by spectroscopic methods. ⺠Compounds 2, 15 showed weak effects in LPS-induced macrophage RAW 264.7 cells.
