Abstract
⺠For sucrose, a complete assignment of the 129 vibration normal modes is proposed. ⺠The glucopyran and glucofuran rings were studied by means of NBO and AIM analyses. ⺠The SQM/B3LYP/6-31G* force field was obtained for sucrose. ⺠An agreement between theoretical and available experimental results was found.
