Abstract
⺠Conformational behavior of the glycosyl sulfonamide has been investigated from a theoretical and experimental point of view. ⺠Conformations were analyzed in terms of exo- and endo-anomeric effects and steric factors. ⺠An explanation of the stereochemical outcome of sulfonamidoglycosylations was given.
