Abstract
► Fragments of the outer core of the P. aeruginosa lipopolysaccharide were synthesized. ► Stereoselective α-glucosylation was achieved using remote anchimeric participation. ► DTT in aqueous acetonitrile provides highly efficient reduction of sugar azides.
