Abstract
New benzothiazinones bearing a piperidine moiety were designed and synthesized as antitubercular agents based on the structure feature of IMB-ZR-1 discovered in our lab. Compound 2i were found to display potent anti-TB activity (MICâ¯<â¯0.016â¯Î¼g/mL) against drug-sensitive/resistant MTB strains.100
