Synthesis, characterization, evaluation and molecular dynamics studies of 5, 6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazin-3(2H)-one derivatives bearing 5-substituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole as potential anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents

Amongst the synthesized triazine derivatives, 4d showed most significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. Its superior safety profile over indomethacin is attributed to preferential inhibition of COX-2 over COX-1.164
