Synthesis, in vitro and in vivo antitumor activity of symmetrical bis-Schiff base derivatives of isatin

Novel bis-isatins Schiff base analogs were designed and synthesized. Most of these derivatives possessed superior in vitro and moderate in vivo antitumor activities based upon the interference of mitosis.
