Abstract
Mannich bases of 7-piperazinylquinolones with kojic acid derivatives were designed as new antibacterials. Compound 2b was the most potent compound against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MICs ≤0.19 μg/mL).
