Abstract
⺠Synthesis of the two novel esters of IDMC and one ester of reduced IDMC was performed. ⺠IDMC was covalently bound by using a spacer chain to the pyrrole in the 3-position. ⺠The innovative monomers were tested in order to study their cytotoxicity using primary calvarial osteoblasts as a cell model. ⺠Monomers (Py-IDMC) exhibited no cytotoxic effects.
