Abstract
⺠A host of known PLC-γ2 inhibitors were tested against the NCI60 tumour cell panel. ⺠A class of thieno[2,3-b]pyridines showed excellent growth arrest. ⺠Derivative 3 gave GI50 = 58 nM for the MDA-MB-435 cell line. ⺠Haematopoietic cells were restricted by GI50 = 275 nM indicating interaction to PLC-γ2.
